Booka Nile is a psychology graduate who has been working predominantly in the mental health sector for the past decade. She has also been touring globally as a professional musician (playing keyboard and singing) since 2017 with metalcore-band, Make Them Suffer. Nile started 2020 by embarking on a new musical venture, learning guitar whilst forming her band, Internet Friends, where she is also the lead vocalist and brain behind their sassy lyrics. During Coronavirus lockdowns in Perth last year, Nile brought together her love of mental health work and psychology, with her passion for music by creating Sonic Minds; A therapeutic songwriting service that focuses on using musical creativity to improve mental wellbeing.
