WAM wants to keep you and the local music scene safe!

All events over WA Music Week will follow rigorous COVID Safety Plans and procedures, and we ask you to help by doing your part.

STAY HOME

If you feel unwell or experience any symptoms please stay home and get tested. Your nearest testing site can be found here.

If you cannot attend a ticketed WA Music Week event due to potential COVID-19 infection or exposure please contact admin@wam.org.au for refund advice.

STAY APART

When attending any WA Music week events please make sure to maintain physical distancing by keeping 1.5m away from others. This includes during live performances, while queuing at events, and while seated.

STAY SAFE

Remember to wash or sanitise your hands regularly and thoroughly, and follow good respiratory etiquette. Sanitation stations will be provided at all WA Music Week venues so please make sure to maintain good hygiene practice while attending our events. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed or unsanitised hands.

STAY ALERT

Please follow the directions of the COVID Safety Marshals and venue staff at all events. COVID Safety Marshals will be identifiable through their hi vis Marshal vests and will be present at all open-air events. They will be monitoring the safety of yourself and others so please pay attention and follow their requests!

CONTACT TRACING

You must register your attendance to any WA Music Week event via the SafeWA app upon arrival. The app can be downloaded here.

Written contact registers will also be available if you are unable to sign in via the app. Businesses and events have the right to refuse entry to any patrons who have not undertaken the mandatory contact register requirement.

In the event of a positive COVID-19 case being traced to a WA Music Week venue, the relevant details will be passed on to the WA Department of Health for contact tracing purposes.
