A volunteer broadcaster with RTRFM since 2000, Meri has presented talks and music programs and was part of the collective of Drastic on Plastic RTRFM’s iconic “women in music” program for nearly 20 years. She spent several years as a news and current affairs producer on ABC radio and now works freelance as an interviewer and facilitator.

Famous guests have included Canadian superstar author Margaret Atwood, former PM Julia Gillard and ABC Chair Ita Buttrose as well as broadcasters Leigh Sales, Stan Grant and Waleed Aly. Meri has also facilitated panels on harassment, gender politics, health and mining industry issues. More recently she has focussed on convening public conversations about climate action. She has a podcast called Rare Air.
