With over 20 years’ experience Rachel Kelly has held executive roles at major and independent publishers including Downtown, BMG, Alberts and Warner/Chappell. As Creative Director at Downtown, Rachel established Downtown’s operations in Australia while overseeing Sync and A&R for a domestic roster (Stella Donnelly, John Butler, The Teskey Brothers, Taka Perry, Elliot and Little Quirks). Rachel was named as a Billboard International Power Player (2019) and joined panels at BIGSOUND, IndieCon, Women In Music Australia and Going Global in New Zealand. Rachel served as a board member for the Australasian Music Publishers Association (2020-2021). For the past two years, Rachel has been on a mission to see ‘fair pay for every play’ with fast-growing music tech company, Utopia Music. With headquarters in Switzerland, Utopia is a neutral growth partner levelling up the Music Industry through clear, transparent and reliable data-based solutions. Rachel is currently a mentor for AIR’s Women In Music and continues to advocate for the value of music.
