Ruby Miles, at the age of 27, has found herself immersed in the world of music, pursuing three roles that serve different passions and creativities. Her journey has been a labor of love, marked by opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the industry she holds dear.

As a part of Laneway Festival’s programming team, Ruby has had the privilege of assisting in booking the festival’s lineup. One standout moment was her involvement in bringing ‘Fred Again..’ onboard just before his meteoric rise to global stardom. Beyond this, she plays a role in creating social media content, particularly on TikTok and Instagram, ensuring festival-goers remain engaged and excited.

Ruby’s involvement with festivals doesn’t stop at Laneway. Her role as a Music Programmer for the inaugural SXSW Sydney allowed her to curate an array of showcase performances, a task she undertook with a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for fostering new talent.  In addition, Ruby’s music passions can be found on the airwaves of FBi Radio, a local Sydney community radio station dedicated to groundbreaking music.  Ruby Miles’ journey in the music industry is one guided by a deep love for music and an commitment to pushing Australia’s music industry into the future.
